    Here is a (funny) article for anyone who wonders why we’ve been making you do step-down box jumps. I think the pain in your calf/achilles after high rep rebounding box jumps should be enough to prove the point, but I’ve been wrong about tings before. This is a post by the writer from fomer Beastmodaldomains, so if your familiar with him, you know he writes with a lot of vulgar language. Just a warning:

      oh….and it parallel’s one of the reason’s why we use tempo’s.

      Good points! I always get the worst pain/tightness in my calves & ankles after a lot of box jumps, it’s extremely awful after if we do DU’s and box jumps together in a WOD. I will gladly step down every time – not that I am good at the rebound anyhow =P

        Thanks Dameka! I listened to Keef and kept the Burpees at a # I could keep doing each minute (10-12 for me) so I had just over 10 seconds to rest before going to the wall balls – it sucked big ass I had to keep telling myself not to slow down or stop. Mental game for sure!
