July Payments are Due.

Corporal Ryan C. McGhee, 21, was killed in action on May 13, 2009 by small arms fire during combat in central Iraq. He served with 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment of Fort Benning, GA. This was his fourth deployment, his first to Iraq. Ryan was engaged to Ashleigh Mitchell of Fredericksburg, VA.

He is survived by his father Steven McGhee of Myrtle Beach SC, his mother Sherrie Battle McGhee, and his brother Zachary.

 

 

This weekend is the CrossFit Games. We will have the tv here and hooked up to watch them Friday-Sunday throughout the day. On Saturday we will have our normal 9am Free WOD and the 10am WOD and then are going to hang out here at the box after and watch the competition, we will be doing a cookout and have  beers and whatnot. We will have our normal cookout foods so don’t feel as if anyone needs to bring anything, just come hang out and watch the best CrossFitters compete for $250,000 and the title of  the Fittest in the World!

Please post to comments though if you plan on sticking around so we can make sure we have enough food/beer for everyone.

      we will be hanging out all weekend watching the games if you want to do that you are more than welcome we just won’t be cooking out.

        I have to go to a wedding in Bedford/Altoona on Saturday. This should be my last weekend of traveling for a while.. I hope!

    I highly recommend not doing this a ‘lunch time workout.’
    I’m pretty much asleep at my desk now.

    Hey Team. Leavin for LA tomorrow to support the athletes and rep GNC. Be back next Monday- gonna try to drop in a few sessions while out there to stay in shape. Train hard and enjoy the games!

    Ohh McGhee always a major ass kicker! Totally the hero WOD I dread the most!

    14 rounds + 19 reps @ 185# – almost a 2 full round PR from last December (got 12+21 @ 185# then)

    I actually really liked this one. 12 rounds even. 175#, chest to abmat pushups, 20″.
    Jared & I are planning on hanging out Saturday. We will bring some munchies!
