Today we will be honoring U.S. Marine Corps Lance Corporal Philip P. Clark, 19, of Gainesville, Florida, assigned to 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, based in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, died on May 18, 2010, while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He is survived by his wife, Ashton, father Mike and stepmother Tammy, mother Rosmari Kruger, and brothers Tyler, Kyle and Ryan Nordyke.

    it is always a privilege to do a hero/memorial WOD, and i like that no one complains about doing them, … a form of giving the hero & the WOD the respect that it deserves, . . . that is the Crossfit community in one of its best forms.

    I agree Chris. Starting the 2nd round I considered putting on my hand wraps to not rip. Then I literally thought about it being a hero WOD and just decided to suck it up. Fortunately, I still didn’t rip. Liked this one a lot.

    Ryan took a 1 hour nap ate twice and Blake and I did OTM back squat 10×2 at 225#

    Ryan, I came home and ate and then went and cut grass and ran some errands before heading back to the box to squat with LW. I hit a wall around 7:30 though.
