CFIC Beginning

Today marks 3 months since we opened our doors for our first classes.  Over the past few months it really has been an honor watching all the progress that everyone has made since you first stepped foot in CFIC.  Yesterday at Open Gym Bobbi Ann got her first pullup, Carmen got double unders and did a pullup workout without using a band, Tim PR’s his Grace and Johnna is mastering the clean.

As we continue to move forward and grow I hope that everyone remember a few things: 1. We are all in this for a common goal of bettering ourselves and that is best achieved by continuing to have an awesome community and supporting each other.  2. We need to check our egos at the door.  Unfortunately we cannot always be the best and being humbled by workouts happens to even the best athletes so there is no reason to beat yourself up over it.  3. Allow the coaches to help you achieve your goals.  We are all here to help and we have methods of doing things that may not always make the most sense, but I guarantee that there is a method to our madness.  4.  You will not be able to get better without practicing your weaknesses.  But the final and most important thing that I want you to remember is HAVE FUN!

Thanks for being an awesome community and proof that I made the best decision of my life whenever we decided to open 6 months ahead of schedule.

Did this back at the end of October. Got 7:05 rx’d. And this is when my BS and clean weren’t as strong. Curious what I could do now. Sub 5? hmmm

I am so glad you opened in the North Hills. I have been excited about CF since your “new house” party and I watched the games in your living room. It is more rewarding to be a member than I ever imagined. The CFIC community is awesome! I don’t think I could find a better team or group of coaches at other CFs. It is my favorite hour of day!

    Where was everyone this AM???
