We are going to be honoring another hero today,  Chief Petty Officer Nate Hardy, who was killed Sunday February 4, 2008 during combat operations in Iraq.

Nate is survived by his wife, Mindi, and his infant son Parker.    

For anyone that has an interest in competing now that the Open is over there is an online competition that starts this weekend that is only $7 to compete.  There are scaled and Rx divisions, it is broken into age brackets and there are cash prizes for the top athletes in each division.  Check it out here http://throwdownseries.com/

    That thowdown series website says the registration deadline is February14th (didn’t try to do it, can’t because I’m at work haha). That may be last years deadline if they did not update their site. Also, is there more than 1 WOD that you will get to do? By the looks of the website it seems as if they will only be releasing one.

    Warm-up for 3rds – 17:32 rxd…realized about half way through that it was a little harder than I thought.
