Clean and Jerk results

If you haven’t paid for May yet please bring your payments this week.  Thanks.

You guys killed it yesterday.  The results speak for themselves.  A lot of PRs and Dave Foster became the 1st CFIC member to clean 300#.

A big congratulations goes out to Cara for getting her first pullup.

Good WOD this morning. Forgot to write down my time again. My left thumb, forefinger and the side of my forearm started to tingle and go numb during overhead squats. They are still numb and tingly almost 12 hours later. I did some looking around on the CF forums and it seems like others have had similar issues and call it nerve impingement.

Anyone have any experience with this? Any stretches or foam roller stuff I could do that would help? -Thanks.

Jonathan, yes I get a pinched ulna nerve in my left elbow and it does the same thing down through my fingers. I have a brace that keeps everything tight and prevents any movement so it doesn’t happen alot. It is kinda difficult to explain stretches but one that should work is straighten your arm out in front of your body and with the palm of your hand facing downward gently push your hand/wrist in toward your body and you should feel a slight pull through your hand and up through your forearm to your elbow. If you come to the evening class at all this week I can show you a few more that should help.

RxD – broken down to time I completed each round:
    50 – 8min
    40 – 15min
    30 – 20min
    20 – 24min
    10 – 25:48min

my goal was to go 8,7,5,3,2< to get the time under 25min, missed it by 48seconds

@ Jonathan – google exercises for carpal tunnel. There’s a series Here, http://www.aitcnh.com/downloads/Carpal_Tunnel_Exercises_that_Work.pdf that is pretty helpful. He carpal tunnel exercises will help with some of the neural gliding that will relieve the numbness. Also, time will bring back sensation. Don’t ice it.

17:?? I forget. Upper 17’s tho. Using the fat bar definitely made a huge difference on the grip, but I liked that. I could use a good grip intensive wod.

Nothing like 150 OH squats with a barbell. I’m up for the Erie comp too.

Also, raise the jolly roger! Back to back wins against the nationals.
